Variable Annuity Calculator

The DoubleBucket® Variable Annuity (DBVA) Calculator generates a variable annuity table that determines where your money should be invested during each year of retirement, or any annuity span.  In addition, it computes the withdrawal percentage that can be taken each year.  This is labelled as "WD %" in the annuity table.

Once the annuity table has been generated you can then generate a detailed report on how the Annuity has performed over all past spans.  For a detailed explanation on how to use the calculator, see Annuity Calculator Help .  For starters, enter your retirement age and termination age and page down and select the "compute annuity table" button.  This will generate an annuity table for the default values we've suggested.  If you wish, you can modify the asset splits for any time bucket to see how it affects the annuity table.  Once you've generated the Annuity Table you can page down further and select "historical analysis" to see how it has performed during all previous spans.

(By default, "Cur. Age" and "Ret. Age" are the same.  If you want them to be different, there is no need to enter any periods.  Also, you'll need to enter a "current savings" and a "pre-retirement yearly contribution" on the 3rd menu below after computing the annuity table.)
